No greater love was ever found than that of him who sent
his most beloved first-born son, down to earth that we might live
no greater lover than his was ever found

He sent a Savior His chosen one to pay for all the sins
All the wrongs the world had done. he sent his son He sent His Son!
No greater love than His is ever found

And in the heav'ns a new star was hung to tell of His birth
Angels sang! night was as day upon the earth. We sing:

The greatest love, the greatest love was that of Him who sent
His first-born son down from above, tho He knew that was to come.
A love as great as His is never shown
