ZION

While but a lad, Enoch was called by God
To preach repentance to the wicked world.

"Why me? I am hated, for my words - are - slow -"

But Enoch was commanded to go.

And so great was the faith of Enoch
And so great was the power of the word of God
The people trembled, the mountains fled , the rivers were turned away.
And Enoch walked with God
He talked with the Father face to face.
And the people feared, the people believed
The city of Zion was made.

Zion: City of Holiness! Zion: People of God!
With one heart and one mind, and hands on the iron rod.
Zion: Home of all righteousness where no poor could be found.
The earth never held such glory! Zion became earth's crown.

And so great was the faith of that people
And so great was the power of the word of God
Their enemies trembled, the mountains fled , the rivers were turned away.
And God walked with his people,
He dwelt in their City of Holiness.
And the lion's roar was heard from the wild.
Oh, where is that city today?

Zion: City of Holiness! Zion: People of God!
The pure in heart: The pure in heart now live with God!
Zion: Home of all righteousness, where no poor could be found.
It's order united in Godly love. Earth could not hold Zion bound.

Not a soul tasted death, for in one breath they joined the angels of God
He received Zion unto His bosom, now Zion is not found.

Zion: City of Holiness! Zion: People of God!
The pure in heart: The pure in heart now live with God!
Zion: City of Heaven! Zion will come again!
When in triumph the Son of God returns, Zion will come again.
Zion. Zion. Zion. Zion. For now it is said: ZION IS FLED.
