I Love Jesus

“Suffer the children to come to me.”

He opened His arms and He smiled at me.

I ran to Him. I’m glad we could be with Jesus.

He lifted me up to sit on His knee.

He looked in my eyes when He talked to me.

I liked that. I’m glad we could be with Jesus.

Oh, I love Jesus. I know that He is my friend.

I love Jesus and I want to be with Him again.

He put His hands gently upon my head,

And in His sweet voice He so softly said,

“Please bless them.” I’m glad we could be with Jesus.

He said we were humble and pure and kind

And spirits like ours we were sure to find in heaven.

He said, “Such is the kingdom of heaven.”
